fwiw my 2001 service manual says to use NTG2218 grease on the outer cv joint and SSG6003 grease on the inner. Not sure what the difference is, or if it really matters. It also says to use about 140g (5oz) to fill the inner joint & boot. Again, not sure how much that amount matters.
